Job Summary

Cognizant is seeking a highly skilled AEM Front End Lead/Architect to join our team. As a key member of our Enterprise Platform Services (EPS) team, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing activities related to end-to-end delivery management, including solution review, estimates validation, project planning, and execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translate business requirements into technical requirements and validate feasibility.
  • Create and maintain technical architecture for Frontend applications using JavaScript libraries and frameworks.
  • Define best-practices and ensure team adherence to developing maintainable, modular, reusable, and repeatable code.
  • Drive quality excellence and ensure application works well across browsers and devices.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership and innovation around frontend solutions by exploring and integrating new frameworks, productivity tools, and automation tools.
  • Manage and lead a Front-End Development team of 5-10 members.
  • Define and maintain team operating standards, including issue tracking and time reporting.
  • Drive team engagement and enablement by encouraging and driving community activities within the team.
Technical Experience
  • 8+ years of experience in Web Application Development and expertise with component-driven architectures.
  • 4+ years of proven experience in Frontend application development using JavaScript and its core principles.
  • Proficient understanding of JavaScript libraries and frameworks, including React JS, Vue JS, and Angular.
  • Experience with newer specifications of ECMAScript and Typescript.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and good knowledge of Core web fundamentals: HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  • Good knowledge of RWD frameworks like Bootstrap and Material UI, and CSS preprocessors like Sass or LESS.
  • Experience with popular Adobe Experience Manager Workflows and good understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and Polyfills.
  • Working knowledge of mocking frameworks, automated build, and unit testing.
  • Experience with a testing framework (Jest/Mocha) and common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, Grunt, Gulp, NPM, etc.
  • Good understanding of package managers and able to resolve dependencies.
  • Experience in distributed code repositories such as Git.
