Location: Hillsboro, OR

Key Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of technical experience in mechanical or electrical fields, with a focus on semiconductor technology.
  • Special Requirements:
  • Must adhere to cleanroom protocols and utilize personal protective equipment; capable of working at heights and in confined spaces. Duties will be performed in both office and fabrication environments.
  • Experience in a diverse workplace is essential.
  • Proficient in the use of mechanical and electrical tools.
  • Understanding of basic mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Ability to convert hex to decimal and binary to decimal.
Responsibilities:
  • Monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot issues, and execute various testing operations using precision measuring instruments.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment in accordance with site-specific procedures and operational manuals.
  • Engage in site-specific projects as assigned by the Engineering Integration Coordinator or Site Coordinator, including assistance with procedure documentation and information retrieval for ongoing investigations.
  • Ensure accurate tracking of parts utilized to maintain consignment inventory integrity, adhering to proper stock handling protocols.
  • This role operates on a compressed work schedule (3-4 work week).
Qualifications:
  • Proactive in responding to changes and capable of managing additional essential tasks as required.
  • Possess mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently on assigned tasks.
  • AS degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience with a minimum of 8 years in a related field is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong systematic troubleshooting abilities, sound judgment, and problem-solving skills to independently resolve diverse issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Demonstrate a customer-focused approach and commitment to resolving issues based on business priorities.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of basic computer languages and commands is required.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays is necessary.
  • Compliance with uniform requirements in a cleanroom environment at customer sites is mandatory.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Travel: Required for training purposes only, a few times per year.
