Role Summary:

The Collections Specialist is tasked with executing collection efforts, engaging with patients to discuss and negotiate payment plans and solutions, utilizing various resources to assist patients in resolving their outstanding balances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound calls in a professional and efficient manner
  • Inform consumers of overdue accounts through telephone communication to facilitate payment
  • Process payments over the phone for customer accounts
  • Manage and follow up on assigned collection accounts diligently
  • Document call details and outcomes accurately and clearly
  • Recognize when to escalate calls to senior advisors or management as necessary
  • Maintain professionalism, respect, and a positive demeanor in all interactions
  • Support and embody the company’s mission and values consistently
  • Assist with special projects as assigned
  • Participate in relevant meetings and events
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by supervisors

Qualifications for Success:
