Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Conversion Analyst to support the conversion of data from legacy operating systems to our Patriot Growth employee benefits agency management system, BenefitPoint. This role will involve working closely with our development team to ensure a seamless data conversion process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain data from source systems in various formats and format it into a standard template using Microsoft Excel or Microsoft SQL.
  • Validate data using various reports and conversion tools to determine conversion issues and areas of cleanup.
  • Assist in the preparation of mapping lists, including carrier, employees, and plan types.
  • Lead data reviews with agencies to ensure completeness of conversion and data quality.
  • Manage work assignments on a specific timeline and ensure milestones are met in accordance with the project plan.
  • Identify and track to resolution any conversion issues discovered.
  • Collaborate with the development team on tooling requirements for conversion projects.
  • Meet with agency personnel during the implementation process to provide recommendations that lead to a successful data conversion.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor of Science degree in a business or technology-related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience with insurance agency management.
  • Prior involvement with the implementation of an insurance operating system.
  • Advanced usage of Microsoft Excel tools, including pivot tables, formulas, and lookups.
  • Ability to extract data from Excel or SQL programs.
  • Prior work experience with conversion of data from one operating system to another.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral).
  • Ability to multitask, complete tasks within expected deadlines, and adapt to change.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% throughout the year.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now and in the future.
