Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Jupiter Bach. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and services, and for implementing processes to prevent defects and errors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Inspections: Conduct regular quality inspections to monitor production compatibility vs. requirements and prevent internal and external nonconformities.
  • HSE Execution: Ensure that workers use the specified personal protective equipment for each process, and ensure safety compliance of building, chemicals, etc.
  • Quality Management: Inspect and measure product for production, record inspection information into electronic based inspection system, and perform quality inspections of incoming materials as requested.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Update electronic inspection criteria as needed, update work instructions as needed, and assist in training as required and document in training software.
  • Customer and Supplier Management: Answer customer and internal nonconformances as required, create supplier nonconformances as needed, and track PO's and ensure parts are properly identified before shipping.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Previous quality experience required.
  • Skills and Abilities: Must be able to read and use a metric tape measure, caliper, and other tools as needed, must be able to climb steps and ladders, and must have high attention to detail.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Excellent written and verbal communication, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Success Criteria
  • Quality and Safety: Ensure Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental policies are followed, and ensure nonconforming product does not escape Jupiter Bach to the customer.
  • Productivity and Efficiency: Quality inspections shall be completed on time and according to the work instruction.
