Job Description

This role involves managing a Kindergarten classroom, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment that promotes both play and learning. You will be responsible for planning and delivering effective lesson plans, implementing our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum, and utilizing various teaching strategies to engage students.

You will also maintain regular communication with parents, sharing their children's progress and achievements through various channels. Additionally, you will collaborate with center staff and leadership to support the success of the center, working towards enrollment and engagement goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the classroom environment to ensure safety and engagement
  • Plan and deliver effective lesson plans tailored to Kindergarten students
  • Implement the L.E.A.P. Curriculum and utilize diverse teaching strategies
  • Maintain regular communication with parents
  • Collaborate with center staff and leadership to achieve goals
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of professional teaching experience in a daycare or preschool setting
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
  • Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)
  • CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)
