Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Graduate Student Assistant to join our team in the Honors College. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Honors College Office, serving as a receptionist, completing general office work, and managing marketing and communications efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to students, faculty, and staff
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Honors College Office, including reception duties and general office work
  • Develop and implement marketing and communications strategies to promote the Honors College
  • Assist with event preparation and execution for Honors events
  • Support the Associate Director with Honors advising for incoming, current, and transfer students
  • Perform other general office duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Marketing, advertising, communications, or public relations experience preferred
Working Conditions

This is a part-time position, approximately 15-20 hours per week, with a flexible schedule. The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of hours, including evenings and nights, as needed.
