Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Medication Aide to join our team at Trilogy Health Services in the Midwest region. As a Certified Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing safe and effective medication administration, documentation, and resident care.

Responsibilities

  • Safely preparing, administering, and documenting all medications used in the health campus
  • Maintaining resident records regarding medication distribution, leisure activities, incidents, and observations
  • Verifying that any medications brought into the health campus by a newly admitted resident are examined and identified by the attending physician or the facility pharmacy or pharmacist
  • Following health campus policies and procedures regarding the destroying of medications
  • Participating in daily nursing report along with daily electronic documentation
  • Assisting residents with daily needs such as personal hygiene activities, dressing/undressing, lifting, and transporting when needed
  • Observing and reporting changes in residents' condition and making independent decisions when warranted

Requirements

  • Active and in good-standing Nurse Aide certification
  • Active and in good-standing Medication Aide certification (QMA, KMA MA-C)
  • Every other weekend and holiday work availability
  • At least one year's experience as a Certified Medication Aide preferred
  • At least 18 years of age with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, referral bonus program, and multiple options to further develop your career and education.

Location

This position is based in Dayton, Ohio, and requires full-time, 12-hour shifts with block scheduling for overnight stays. Mileage and meal reimbursement are provided (if applicable), and lodging accommodations are provided by the Company (if applicable).
