Job Description

This Medical Assistant Specialist role will assist providers with patient care, create a positive atmosphere, and maintain confidentiality. Key responsibilities include:

  • Fulfilling patient care responsibilities, assisting doctors with patient care.
  • Escorting patients to and from exam rooms, helping them prepare for exams.
  • Cleaning and straightening exam rooms, emptying laundry bins between patients.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, certified medical assistant certification preferred, medical terminology knowledge, and 1-2 years' experience in a medical office setting.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certified medical assistant certification (CMA/AAMA).
  • Medical terminology knowledge.
  • 1-2 years' experience in a medical office setting (dermatology practice preferred).
