Job Description

Job Summary:

Lockheed Martin is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Facilities Site Manager to join our team. As a Facilities Site Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring a safe and productive research and development work environment for Lockheed Martin engineers and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain all key systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, backup power, and alarm systems.
  • Collaborate with architecture/engineering firms to manage construction and renovation projects.
  • Lead a high-performing team and ensure a safe and productive work environment.
  • Liaise with leased building management facilities points of contact to address leased space facility matters.
  • Plan and oversee the reconfiguration, maintenance, and alteration of buildings, structures, equipment, and other facilities.
  • Coordinate with architecture/engineering firms in developing design criteria and preparing layout and detail drawings.
  • Prepare bid sheets for construction and facilities acquisition, renovation, rehabilitation.
  • Review and estimate design costs including equipment, labor, installation, materials, preparation, and other related costs.
  • Inspect or manage the inspection of construction and installation progress to ensure conformance to established drawings, specifications, and schedules.
  • Lead, develop, and collaborate with staff and peers to ensure a healthy and high-performing team.
  • Liaise with Corporate ESH representatives.
  • Maintain knowledge of leasing terms and support ad hoc facility requests for one or more properties.
  • Oversee shipping and receiving, property management, and P Card procurement activities by staff.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge and experience in facilities management.
  • Effective customer relationship skills and ability to build long-term relationships.
  • Effective communication skills both written and verbal with management, staff, customers, and external partners.
  • Basic knowledge of electronic systems.
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC systems.
  • Basic knowledge of computers and computer hardware.
  • Ability to read electronic schematics.
  • Ability to read construction blueprints.
  • AutoCad experience.
  • Ability to obtain a US Security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and experience with leasing agreements and real-estate process.
  • Project management experience.
  • Government property management experience.
  • Experience in the design and build of secure spaces meeting the ICD 705 government security standard.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
