About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in the Mental Health Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Program. As a LPN, you will work under the direction of a Registered Nurse or provider to provide high-quality patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Observe, record, and report changes in patient condition
  • Assist in the development and revision of patient care plans
  • Provide full range of practical nursing care to patients with various physical and/or behavioral problems
  • Administer medications and injections, observing and documenting patient response
  • Perform urine specimen collections, breathalyzer, and other point-of-care specimen collections as ordered
  • Participate in nursing reports and other care team meetings to ensure continuity in patient care
  • Initiate therapeutic communications with patients and families
  • Participate in patient/family teaching programs related to health promotion and reinforce instructions provided by the registered nurse and physician
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a school of practical or vocational nursing approved by the appropriate State agency and/or the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing
  • Full, active, current, and unrestricted licensure as a licensed practical or vocational nurse in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or District of Columbia
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide high-quality patient care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
