Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team at MHMR Tarrant. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing direct care to patients in our Mental Health Jail Diversion Center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with orientation to the unit and provide support during interventions and stabilization.
  • Transport patients outside the facility and maintain a safe and therapeutic environment.
  • Report and document patient services accurately according to MHMR's Policies and Procedures.
  • Complete required training and attend training refreshers as needed.

Requirements:

  • Adequate knowledge of DSHS Mental Health Community Standards.
  • Thorough knowledge of Agency policies and operating procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team to achieve program goals.
