Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with patient care by completing screening questions, medication reviews, and vital sign recordings.
- Prepare exam spaces for scheduled procedures and maintain a clean and organized environment.
- Document all care provided in the electronic medical record and ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Deliver care tailored to the patient's age and developmental needs.
- Assist with scheduling appointments, complete electronic patient messages, and medication refill requests.
- Collect lab specimens as directed and administer approved medications as needed.
Requirements:
- Current JPS recognized Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA).
- 2-4.99 years of relevant experience as a Certified Medical Assistant II.
