Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant II to join our team at JPS Health Network. As a Patient Care Specialist, you will provide exceptional medical assistance to our patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout their healthcare journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with patient care by completing screening questions, medication reviews, and vital sign recordings.
  • Prepare exam spaces for scheduled procedures and maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Document all care provided in the electronic medical record and ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Deliver care tailored to the patient's age and developmental needs.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments, complete electronic patient messages, and medication refill requests.
  • Collect lab specimens as directed and administer approved medications as needed.

Requirements:
  • Current JPS recognized Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Current certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA).
  • 2-4.99 years of relevant experience as a Certified Medical Assistant II.
