Field Engineering Technician

Leidos is seeking a skilled Field Engineering Technician to join our team. As a Field Engineering Technician, you will be responsible for conducting field inspections of utility poles throughout the Northern New Hampshire region.
Key Responsibilities:- Travel to various locations in New Hampshire to collect data, field measurements, and photos of utility poles.
- Document maintenance concerns and collect necessary data for Leidos designers to design solutions and fixes.
- Meet weekly goals and expectations set by your boss and communicate your status and progress effectively.
- Work in a variety of environments, including urban, rural, and private properties, and Transmission and Distribution Right of Ways.
- High School diploma minimum requirement.
- Preferred candidate would possess experience within the power distribution field and/or an AS/BS in engineering (or related STEM Field).
- Candidates must be able to work in both team and independent environments and to organize work to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of NESC Standards and Client Standards is helpful.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) required.
