5G/LTE/IMS Core Integration Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage various industry-standard 4G/5G packet and IMS core systems.
- Configure and resolve issues with EPC/IMS components, including MME, PCRF, SPGW, and xCSCFs, for features such as VoLTE, VoWiFi, SMS, and advanced call functionalities like call waiting and caller ID.
- Design and implement interoperability, performance, and load testing scenarios across diverse core and RAN components.
- Assist in troubleshooting end-to-end 4G/5G call scenarios involving various RAN and external core components.
- Strong grasp of 4G/5G standard call flows.
- Extensive experience in configuring and managing 4G/5G core networks and IMS systems.
- Familiarity with SIP, Diameter, and Service-Based Architecture (SBA) interfaces.
- Experience with core and user equipment simulation tools from vendors such as Ixia, Viavi, and Spirent.
- Solid understanding and troubleshooting capabilities of UE/Radio air interfaces and 3GPP Radio to 4G/5G Core interfaces.
- Knowledge of basic networking principles and Linux/OpenSystem NFVI concepts.
- Understanding of 4G/5G RAN and vRAN concepts.
- Experience with Policy/Charging and QoS enforcement configurations.
- Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD automation practices.
- Networking fundamentals with the ability to configure and manage network devices.
- Experience with major NFVI platforms such as RedHat OpenStack and VMware ESXi.
