Position Overview:

As a Client Engagement Specialist, you will collaborate closely with our Sales team and Broker partners to:

  • Conduct thorough renewal assessments.
  • Provide exceptional service while promoting new lines of business.

This role is crucial in driving profitable revenue growth for a designated portfolio of existing group business by crafting and executing tailored strategies. You will engage in strategic discussions with sales representatives and brokers to achieve these goals.


Who You Are:

You possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, complemented by 4+ years in a related field, preferably in group benefits or account management.

Life and Health Insurance Licenses are mandatory for all states where business will be conducted, or you must be able to obtain them within 90 days of employment. An active life/health license is preferred.


You demonstrate strong skills in persuasion, interpersonal communication, problem-solving, decision-making, time management, presentation, listening, and both oral and written communication. Additionally, you have solid analytical abilities and advanced mathematical skills, along with a foundational understanding of graphs, symbols, and equations.


Intermediate computer proficiency and familiarity with business unit applications are advantageous. You maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, while also ensuring confidentiality is upheld.


This position requires approximately 25% travel, including overnight stays for in-person interactions with clients and brokers.


Compensation and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is targeted at $98,400 per year. Non-sales roles may participate in a bonus program, while sales positions are eligible for sales incentives and, in some cases, a bonus plan, allowing total compensation to significantly exceed base salary based on individual performance.


We offer a Flexible Time Off (FTO) program for salaried employees, enabling them to take paid time away from work for vacation, personal matters, or short-term illness without accruing a set number of days.

This role supports a hybrid work model, allowing a blend of office and remote work, depending on location.
