Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring seamless execution of our culinary vision, and driving business growth. Key Responsibilities
  • Restaurant Operations: Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food and beverage execution, quality control, service, cost control, labor, and profitability.
  • Team Management: Mentor, teach, and train managers and hourly staff to perform at a high level, while building relationships that foster loyalty and teamwork.
  • Financial Management: Meet budgeted goals related to projected revenue, cost of goods, labor, and all other operating expenses.
  • Inventory and Ordering: Manage weekly inventory, ordering, and production to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Labor Management: Produce revenue projections, staffing matrices, staff scheduling, and theoretical vs actual labor analysis to optimize labor costs.
  • Customer Relations: Maintain and manage our in-house CRM platform to ensure customer relations visibility, guest satisfaction, retention, and recovery.
  • Training and Development: Work directly with the Manager of Training to educate and train all team members on our core company curriculum, procedures, and policies.
  • Restaurant Appearance: Ensure the restaurant maintains a clean, safe, and welcoming environment that meets our high standards.
  • Compliance: Enforce all handbook policies and standards set forth by the company, ensuring compliance with public health, sanitation, and safety regulations.
  • Vendor Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with food and beverage vendors, ensuring optimal purchasing power and negotiated prices.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills: Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Brink, and 7Shifts POS. Ability to perform theoretical costing around food, purchasing, and labor.
  • Language: English, with basic Spanish skills preferred but not required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of proven success as a leader in restaurant operations, with a background in best-in-class restaurant experience and a passion for staying on top of current food trends.
  • Certifications: ServeSafe Certified.
  • Work Environment: This hands-on position requires 80% of the work week to be spent actively engaged in running culinary operations, with the ability to work on your feet for up to 10 hours at a time and lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Attention to Detail: Taking responsibility for a thorough and detailed method of working.
  • Financial Awareness: Actively seeking opportunities to optimize financial costs and investments when making decisions that have a financial implication.
  • Functional Expertise and Usage: Acquiring and applying functional knowledge in an area of specialty that is not technical, such as operations, finance, and human resource management.
