Warehouse Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team at Medical Solutions. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse facilities.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling coverage for each of our three shifts, managing material handling equipment servicing and maintenance, and overseeing disciplinary procedures and other HR functions. You will also analyze logistics KPIs to improve efficiency and delivery quality, monitor PPE and replace as needed, and facilitate inventory control to maintain accurate stock levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule coverage for each of 3 shifts
  • Manage MHE servicing and maintenance
  • Manage disciplinary procedures and other HR functions
  • Analyze Logistics KPI's to improve efficiency and delivery quality
  • Monitor PPE and replace as needed
  • Facilitate inventory control in maintaining accurate stock levels
  • Investigate and report incidents and accidents as they may occur
  • Evaluate the most cost-effective distribution schedules
  • Help foster trusting relationships with 3PLs
  • Recommending improvements to boost performance and reduce costs
  • Coordinating with stakeholders to implement changes and improve processes
Requirements
  • Prior experience in supply chain and warehouse operations as a warehouse manager or warehouse supervisor of a large team
  • A track record in managing material handling equipment, and knowledge of the servicing and maintenance required to keep these machines in tip-top condition
  • Thorough knowledge of required PPE (personal protective equipment) is required for our team to maintain safety
  • Experience with inventory control and stock level maintenance
  • Incident reporting
  • Team management and a track record in keeping team morale high, with proven ability to motivate and inspire
  • Previous experience working with 3PL providers and ability to foster great relationships with them
  • Deep knowledge of KPIs and how to ensure team members are able to meet those
