Position Overview: The Project Manager at TITAN Metal Fabricators is tasked with two essential objectives. The first is to engage with both prospective and current clients to market process equipment tailored to the specific requirements of their operations. This involves not only selling but also designing or assisting in the design of the equipment, estimating production costs, and actively pursuing sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and propose suitable process equipment solutions.
  • Design and assist in the design of equipment to meet customer specifications.
  • Estimate production costs and prepare sales proposals.
  • Transition to managing the production phase upon securing a sale, coordinating with engineering and production teams.
  • Oversee the creation of engineering documentation and procurement of materials.
  • Ensure timely delivery of finished equipment to clients.

Ideal Candidate Profile: Successful candidates will exhibit an entrepreneurial spirit coupled with robust problem-solving abilities. They should possess strong negotiation skills and experience in managing both internal and external stakeholders. A Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related discipline is required, or alternatively, 5+ years of relevant experience in the process industry, particularly in a manufacturing context, along with sales and negotiation expertise.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of conveying technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Proficient in project management and cost estimation.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively.
  • Strong understanding of chemical and/or mechanical engineering principles.
  • Proficient in computer software applications and ERP systems.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage critical project milestones.
