Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Vascular Imaging Specialist to join our team at UCHealth. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will play a critical role in performing vascular sonography procedures and providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review patient history and physician's orders to ensure accurate and effective care.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications as needed, while monitoring patient condition and reporting/responding to changes in status.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, selecting appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters to produce high-quality images.
  • Position patients and perform imaging procedures, analyzing results and identifying issues with image quality.
  • Enter, transmit, and report scan results, while maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with healthcare teams.
Requirements
  • Registered Sonographer (RDMS) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVT) certification.
  • Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist program.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in vascular sonography or a related field.
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
