Job Overview

This position provides administrative support to attorneys in the department at WCF Insurance, a leading provider of workers' compensation solutions. The senior paralegal gathers information as requested by attorneys, prepares legal documents, and maintains systems necessary for tracking legal responsibilities and litigation processes.


Qualifications & Skills

  • A minimum of three years of experience in the workers' compensation field or equivalent combination of education and experience; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience working with DWC EAMS and QME portals is required.
  • Paralegal certificate or completion of a paralegal course is an asset.
  • Excellent communication, professionalism, and dependability are essential qualities.
  • Strong technical skills in Word and Excel are necessary.

Essential Job Functions

  • Maintain accurate calendars and diary systems for necessary filings with the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board.
  • Assist in gathering material requested in subpoenas, medical records, QME/AME evaluations, and scheduling depositions and medical evaluations.
  • Prepare and file various pleadings with the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board.

Salary Information

The estimated salary range for this position is $64,000 - $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
