Acute Care Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for Trauma Services

About the Role
Sentara Healthcare is seeking an Acute Care NP or PA to join its high-performing Trauma Service Team at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, a Virginia State-designated Level 1 Trauma and Burn Center.
This is a Full-Time position working 4, 10-hour shifts per week, and includes some weekends based on a rotational basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Disposition trauma patients from ER and floor
- No ICU responsibilities

Requirements:
- Virginia-licensed Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Current, unrestricted DEA license
- Ability to provide quality, comprehensive, continuity of medical care in a compassionate manner with minimum supervision
