About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Annual Giving Officer to join our team at CARTI. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for implementing strategic plans to grow and succeed our annual giving programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive annual giving campaigns and activities, including direct mail, grateful patient, colleague, and community campaigns.
  • Manage the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and recognition of annual fund donors, with a focus on building strong relationships and increasing donor engagement.
  • Prepare and analyze budgets for the annual giving and grants programs, ensuring effective use of resources and maximizing fundraising outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director and Foundation Board of Directors to communicate annual gifts and grants information, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Recruit, train, and retain volunteers across the CARTI footprint, creating meaningful opportunities for engagement and development.
  • Develop and implement online giving programs, leveraging technology to enhance donor experience and increase fundraising efficiency.
  • Pursue and implement new activities and methods to encourage annual giving, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with donors, board members, volunteers, patients, and employees, ensuring excellent communication and customer service.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in non-profit management, business, marketing, communications, public relations, accounting, law, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of development or equivalent work experience, with a proven track record of fundraising success.
  • Knowledge of non-profit organizations and resource development/fundraising techniques, with a focus on annual giving and donor engagement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt to change and a fast-paced schedule.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Raisers Edge software, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
