We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Patient Care Assistant to join our team in the 7 ICU department. As a PCA, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personalized care to patients, including assistance with daily living activities, mobility, and hygiene.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Participate in maintaining a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control protocols and safety standards.
- Collaborate with RNs and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; CNA or EMT license preferred.
- One year of experience as a PCA I - Inpatient or completion of acute care training.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
