Job Summary:
Bartlett Tree Experts is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Arborist Climber Trainee to join our team. As an Arborist Climber Trainee, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional tree care services to our clients while developing your skills and knowledge in arboriculture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in on-the-job training to safely perform all aspects of arboriculture, including tree climbing, pruning, rigging, cabling and bracing, removals, and equipment operation.
- Implement work zone safety procedures and assist Arborist Climbers and Arborist Crew Leaders in their duties.
- Assist with driving, backing, dumping, and parking duties.
- Learn, understand, and adhere to all safety rules and company safety policies.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in tree care, landscaping, forestry, turf care, or horticulture is preferred but not required.
- A degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, Turfgrass, Environmental Science, Plant Science, Outdoor Recreation, Agriculture, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- A passion for nature, the environment, and the outdoors.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record.
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work on a multi-disciplinary team.
