About the Role

As a Sales Representative at US Foods, Inc., you will play a critical role in driving business growth and customer satisfaction. This position requires a strong understanding of the foodservice industry and the ability to build relationships with customers to identify and pursue new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster Customer Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to understand their needs and preferences, and identify opportunities to increase sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage Deliveries: Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers, and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the order process.
  • Collect Accounts Receivable: Communicate with customers to collect outstanding balances, and work with the credit department to resolve any issues.
  • Develop New Business: Identify new business opportunities through market research, customer referrals, and other means, and develop strategies to pursue these opportunities.
  • Stay Up-to-Date on Market Trends: Stay informed about market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales, and share this information with customers to provide value-added services.
Requirements
  • 1+ Year of Sales Experience: Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the foodservice industry.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Ability to analyze problems and develop creative solutions to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Team Player: Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
