This role is centered around fostering independence while providing the necessary support for a variety of interests, including swimming, basketball, exercise, bowling, movie watching, and reading.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate a meaningful daily routine for the individual.
- Support the individual in staying focused on daily objectives.
- Encourage participation in preferred activities in a respectful and supportive manner.
- Implement a behavior support strategy to effectively manage and address needs.
- Contribute to the creation and execution of a Person-Centered Plan (PCP).
- Maintain a safe and engaging environment for daily activities.
Compensation: $20.25-$20.93 per hour
Employment Type: Full-time (35 hours/week) with comprehensive benefits.
Work Schedule: Day shift, community-based role, Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Qualifications:
- Passion for supporting individuals.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Valid driver's license (not provisional).
- Ability to adhere to a structured behavior support plan.
- Willingness to transport individuals in personal or company vehicles.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Experience working with individuals with similar support needs is preferred.
