The ideal candidate will possess:

  • The ability to comprehend all necessary training, as well as written and verbal instructions.
  • A foundational understanding of basic mathematical skills.
  • Familiarity with sewing machinery, proper sewing techniques, thermo-patching tools, and other equipment used in textile repair.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • The capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Reliability in meeting attendance expectations, with a willingness to work shifts that may include weekends and required overtime.

Work Environment and Safety Considerations:

This position is situated in a warehouse setting, with regular exposure to varying weather conditions, including extreme temperatures, as well as dust and noise. Reasonable accommodations may be made to assist individuals with disabilities in fulfilling essential functions. Physical requirements include the ability to move, lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 20 lbs, along with bending, reaching, pulling, twisting, stretching, and lifting. The role necessitates prolonged periods of standing and walking.

Education:

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
