Position Overview

Firelands Auto Group is in search of a dedicated and customer-oriented Automotive Service Consultant to enhance our team.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting clients with their automotive service requirements, delivering precise estimates, organizing appointments, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. Familiarity with CDK systems will be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome clients and evaluate their automotive requirements
  • Address customer inquiries and offer suggestions for maintenance and repairs
  • Deliver precise estimates for services and repairs, encompassing parts and labor costs
  • Organize service appointments
  • Effectively communicate with clients regarding the status of their vehicles and any additional repairs necessary
  • Collaborate with technicians to guarantee timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Maintain comprehensive records of customer interactions, service appointments, and vehicle histories
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety standards and quality benchmarks
  • Provide outstanding customer service and promptly address any concerns or complaints
  • Prior experience as an automotive service consultant or in a comparable customer service position is preferred
  • Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and meticulous attention to detail
  • Understanding of automotive systems and repair methodologies
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including CDK dealer management systems
Additional Requirements

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Must successfully pass background and drug screening checks
