Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)

Delta-T Group is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) with a passion in behavioral health to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will assess individuals and document pertinent information, including Triage, Behavioral Health, Physical Health, and/or Substance Abuse issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Completes detailed Nursing Assessments with individuals and documents pertinent information.
  • Plans individual treatment as part of the Multidisciplinary Clinical team.
  • Provides education concerning Psychiatric diagnosis, treatment options, psychopharmacology, and overall health literacy to individuals, families, and all others involved in the individual's care.
  • Intervenes with appropriate verbal interventions to diffuse out of control or potentially dangerous behaviors.
  • Accurately transcribes Provider orders and administers medications as prescribed.
  • Performs chart checks and signs off as a second noted on medications prescribed.
  • Draws labs and provides wound care as ordered by Providers when required.
  • Completes nurse-to-nurse at discharge or when accepting individual from another facility.

Qualifications:

  • Graduated from an accredited Nursing program.
  • Unrestricted active license as Registered Professional Nurse through State Board of Nursing or hold a multistate licensure privilege.
  • Must be able to perform Safe Clinch patient restraint techniques.
  • American Heart Association BLS.
  • At least 1 year of psychiatric, behavioral health, or relevant experience (Preferred).
  • Previous emergency room or crisis psychiatric care experience (Preferred).
  • Experience working with individuals with addiction and addiction management (Preferred).
