Senior Property Tax Analyst

About the Role:

As a Senior Property Tax Analyst at Top Tier Reps LLC, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of property tax compliance. This includes the preparation, review, and filing of property tax returns, analyzing property tax assessments, handling tax disputes, and ensuring timely payment of all property-related taxes. You will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to address property tax issues and stay current with changes in property tax laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and Review Property Tax Returns: Accurately and timely prepare, review, and file property tax returns to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Analyze Property Tax Assessments: Analyze property tax assessments and manage tax disputes as needed to minimize tax liabilities.
  • Ensure Timely Payment: Ensure timely payment of all property-related taxes to avoid penalties and interest.
  • Identify Tax Savings Opportunities: Identify opportunities for tax savings and provide strategic tax planning advice to clients.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all property tax-related activities.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to address property tax issues and stay current with changes in property tax laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in property tax or a similar role.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of property tax regulations and compliance requirements, proficiency in tax research and analysis, and excellent organizational and time management skills.
