Position Overview:
As a vital member of the management team at StepStone Hospitality, the Housekeeping Operations Manager will oversee all aspects of the housekeeping and laundry departments, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor housekeeping and laundry personnel, including conducting performance reviews, providing training, and managing staffing decisions.
  • Contribute to the formulation of the annual budget and monitor departmental performance against established financial goals.
  • Implement and uphold cost control measures for staffing, linen inventory, and cleaning supplies.
  • Guarantee that exceptional service quality is delivered to meet the needs of our guests.
  • Organize staff schedules in alignment with labor standards and projected occupancy levels.
  • Ensure room quality adheres to the standards set by StepStone and industry benchmarks.
  • Supervise and maintain cleanliness in guest rooms, storage spaces, laundry facilities, restrooms, and communal areas.
  • Administer procedures for the management of lost and found items, ensuring security and proper handling.
  • Conduct regular inventories of linens, supplies, and equipment as necessary.
  • Procure and receive supplies to ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained.
  • Promptly inform hotel management of any emergency situations through appropriate communication channels.
  • Utilize various office and accounting software proficiently to support operational needs.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrates clear and professional communication skills.
  • Exhibits strong listening abilities.
  • Possesses comprehensive knowledge of hotel operations and departmental functions.
  • Capable of obtaining necessary licenses or certifications.
  • CPR and first aid training is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
