Housekeeping Supervisor Job Summary

Liberty Senior Living is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our housekeeping department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities, as well as supervising and training a team of housekeeping staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and coordinate housekeeping services to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Manage departmental budget and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Set a positive tone and atmosphere for the housekeeping department, promoting a culture of respect and courtesy among staff and residents.
  • Audit common areas and resident apartments to ensure cleanliness and attractiveness.
  • Prepare and monitor work schedules, ensuring adequate personnel are on duty for each shift.
  • Monitor absenteeism, overtime, and PTO, and take disciplinary action as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, residents, and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Prepare daily and weekly performance reports, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
  • Knowledge of health department sanitation practices and ability to follow policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
