Position Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to become a vital part of our finance team. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a passion for numbers. This role encompasses a variety of accounting responsibilities, including payroll management, journal entry postings, general ledger oversight, accounts payable processing, and financial reporting. Key Responsibilities:

1. Deliver detailed financial updates to management by assessing and reporting relevant data.
2. Oversee cost analysis by implementing policies, providing forecasts, and recommending strategic actions.
3. Enhance financial performance by monitoring results, identifying trends, and advising management.
4. Assist in managing the general ledger, including monthly and year-end closing activities.
5. Ensure accuracy in accounts payable and reconciliations.
6. Administer the payroll system, maintaining data integrity.
7. Record journal entries and ensure all transactions are documented.
8. Prepare and interpret financial reports to support decision-making.
9. Utilize Excel for comprehensive financial analysis and reporting.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
2. At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
3. Proficient in payroll systems, journal entries, general ledger management, and accounts payable.
4. Strong analytical capabilities with experience in financial data analysis and reporting.
5. Advanced Excel skills are essential.
6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
9. Experience in the manufacturing sector is advantageous.
