About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our team at Alstom. As a key member of our HR function, you will provide strategic HR support to our local business partners, ensuring the effective deployment of Alstom HR initiatives and policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional HR support to local business partners, ensuring adherence to company policy and the deployment of Alstom HR initiatives.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives, ensuring the effective management of talent, performance, and employee relations.
  • Collaborate with line managers to develop their human relation skills, ensuring they are equipped to care for their teams.
  • Implement the Alstom performance management system, ensuring timely and effective performance reviews and development plans.
  • Manage the annual People Review process, including development plans and feedback to individuals.
  • Develop and implement training programs, measuring their efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Be the trainer of key training programs, such as PMTD (Performance Management and Talent Development).
  • Ensure the timely fulfillment of the People Management Cycle (PMC) of relevant communities.
  • Implement high-quality and cost-effective collective development plans for the community.
  • Recruit, retain, and develop high performers and key/critical positions.
  • Adhere to the budget (HC & Cost) and ensure good industrial relations with unions and social partners in the country/scope.
Requirements
  • 7 years of HR experience in a similar industry/environment.
  • Experience of 3-5 years of applying California legislation knowledge required.
  • Generalist HR management experience covering all areas of HR management practice.
  • Influence and resilience within a matrix organization structure.
  • Professional expertise in employment law issues, redundancies, payroll, and employee relations.
  • 2 or more years of Labor Relations/Union experience.
Desirable
  • Experience of HR operational aspects (Talent availability, Salary & Benefit, Legal/Labour Compliance, Social Context).
  • Certificate in PHR or SPHR (or similar) preferred.
