Job Title: Crisis Intervention Clinician

Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Newark is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Crisis Intervention Clinician to join our Mobile Response & Stabilization Services Program in Jersey City, NJ.

Job Summary:

The Crisis Intervention Clinician will provide mobile crisis intervention and assessment services to families and children, as well as stabilization and case management services. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our team to develop and implement comprehensive individualized crisis plans that meet the unique needs of each family.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide mobile crisis intervention and assessment services to families and children
  • Develop and implement comprehensive individualized crisis plans
  • Coordinate discharge/transition services, including referrals and linkages to appropriate levels of need
  • Audit client records and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Lead daily dispatch teams and coordinate team training schedules
  • Monitor the development of specializations and community resources
  • Assist in the orientation process and other duties as requested by the Program Supervisor
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Social Work or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience working with children and families, preferably in crisis assessment and intervention
  • Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bilingual Spanish-English
  • Previous experience in a team lead or supervisory position
About the Mobile Response & Stabilization Services Program:

Catholic Charities' Mobile Response program provides families with counseling, guidance, and referral services to address juvenile crises and help stabilize and preserve the family unit. Our services are designed to defuse immediate crises, keep children and families safe, and maintain children in their current living situations.
