Position Summary

This role involves coordinating tasks with fellow manufacturing personnel to meet customer demands, such as assembly and/or coating, while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and customer standards.

Key Responsibilities

General Responsibilities:
Operate under close supervision, with frequent monitoring of output.
Follow established, routine procedures to complete assigned tasks.
May engage in more advanced functions as part of training and development.
Select from a variety of established procedures to perform duties.
Address routine inquiries and issues, escalating more complex matters as necessary.
Errors may result in minor delays, costs, and disruptions.
Assemble finished products according to customer specifications and collaborate with team members to organize tasks requiring multiple participants.
Utilize manual and automated lifting devices while adhering to product safety guidelines.

Provide information and coordinate action plans during cross-functional meetings, communicating issues with team members to facilitate corrective actions.

The individual must be prepared to work overtime as needed and respond to conflicting deadlines, shifting priorities, and ongoing interruptions.

Organize and maintain spare parts inventory, ordering parts as necessary to fulfill customer requests.
Assist in maintaining area organization according to 5S principles.
Stay informed about spare parts inventory locations for efficient order fulfillment.
Conduct preventive maintenance on tools in the area as per schedules, ensuring compliance with procedural requirements.
May undertake additional duties as assigned.

If coating is part of the responsibilities, the following tasks apply:

Key Duties Related to Coating:
Execute manual conformal coating of products per specifications.
Prepare assemblies for automated coating processes and operate equipment as required.
Maintain spray equipment (including spray guns and booths).
Ensure proper handling and marking of assemblies and components.
Accurately maintain daily thickness logs and records.
Utilize barcode scanners and small hand tools.
Visually inspect assemblies for correct masking application and material placement.

Work under the close supervision of a manufacturing supervisor or, in their absence, from a Group Leader or other assigned management personnel.

Follow detailed written or verbal instructions, including visual aids.
Ensure the assigned area is clean and organized according to 5S standards.
Adhere to all safety and health regulations associated with this position as directed by the supervisor.
Comply with all procedures outlined in the company security policy.

Qualifications
Knowledge Requirements

Ability to effectively present information and respond to inquiries from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Ability to identify problems, gather data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Proficient in operating a personal computer, including using a Windows-based operating system and related software.
Advanced PC skills, including familiarity with Jabil's software packages.
Ability to write simple correspondence and comprehend visual aids.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to execute simple instructions.
Ability to manage standardized situations with minimal variables.
Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations in various units of measure, including whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages, and to interpret graphs.
