Job Summary:
UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize the clinical environment and provide support in patient care situations.
- Assist physicians and nursing personnel with various procedures.
- Deliver quality customer service and ensure policy and procedures are followed.
- Complete mandatory training and maintain certification.
Requirements:
- High School graduate or GED equivalent.
- Nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification or ability to obtain within 180 days.
- BLS certification for healthcare providers.
- Basic computer literacy and intermediate Excel skills.
- Proven knowledge of medical terminology.
