Deli Department Lead
Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the deli, meat, produce, and freezer departments, ensuring efficient inventory management and customer satisfaction.


Key Performance Indicators
  • Ensure proper customer service and develop relationships with large customers.
  • Supervise and work with deli staff to maintain stocked shelves and rotated merchandise.
  • Develop and implement schedules, monitor performance, and recommend disciplinary actions as needed.
  • Train employees in job responsibilities and safe operating procedures.
  • Conduct regular HACCP audits and ensure employees perform proper inspections.
  • Review inventory for product rotation and prevent shrinkage and damages.
  • Ensure accurate computer inventory levels and maintain refrigerated equipment.
  • Supervise the ordering of deli products and maintain competitive pricing.

Requirements
  • Must pass drug screen.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must be at least 18+ years old.
