Scientific Instrument Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team in the UK and Ireland. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing scientific instruments and machines at customer sites.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform service activities in compliance with internal and customer procedures and regulations.
- Install, maintain, and instruct customers on the use of instruments to ensure safe and effective operations.
- Provide telephone and onsite support to ensure customer success with their instrumentation.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with existing customers to achieve customer loyalty.
- Upsell service contracts and products through our Field Lead Incentive Programme.
- Identify sales leads and pass them to the Sales organization.
- Coordinate work schedules with relevant partners and produce timely and accurate reports of activities.
- Professional background in Life Sciences or related subjects.
- Ideal lab experience.
- Electronics Engineering or Biochemistry background desirable.
- Technical certificate or academic degree.
- Past relevant experience in a service function.
- Troubleshooting knowledge and experience.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Proficient in English.
- Driving license required.
