Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Motorsport Development Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role will be pivotal in crafting and implementing tailored turbocharger and turbomachinery solutions for original equipment racing teams and engine manufacturers globally.

Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement:
- Manage projects from inception to completion.
- Collaborate with clients to define project scope and deliverables.
- Ensure timely achievement of project milestones.
- Conduct 1D simulations for turbocharger optimization and aerodynamic assessments.
- Design components using CAD and oversee design processes.
- Lead engineering initiatives, including FEA, CFD, and DFMEA as required.
- Develop supply strategies in partnership with the Operations team.
- Ensure quality and timely delivery of hardware under your purview.
- Conduct post-test analysis, including teardown and product enhancement reporting.
- Manage hardware returns for repairs or warranty processes.
- Create and maintain ERP master data and BOMs.
- Serve as the primary engineering contact for customer interactions, including order management and delivery communication.
- Contribute to sales objectives through accurate order forecasting.

Product Development:
- Maintain and enhance Motorsport-specific product lines.
- Identify and implement design improvements and specifications.
- Oversee laboratory testing for performance and durability.

Operational Excellence:
- Collaborate with the Operations team to ensure quality and efficiency in manufacturing and logistics.
- Document and refine manufacturing processes.
- Work with quality technicians to uphold part and assembly standards.

Engineering Development:
- Define processes and conduct research to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with internal teams to drive projects to successful completion.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in product development within the automotive or racing industries.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% for supplier and customer engagements.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining team connectivity.
- Strong communication skills with clients and internal teams.
- Excellent technical and analytical capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in turbomachinery, internal combustion engines, or electric motors.
- Familiarity with turbocharger-engine matching and system analysis tools.
- Proficiency in CAD software and ERP systems.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience.
