Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
  2. 7+ years of experience in senior manufacturing engineering positions within industries such as additive, automotive, or aerospace. Experience with first article and qualification builds, factory layout design, process optimization, and tooling development in metallic manufacturing settings.
  3. Proficient in CAD software (e.g., Siemens NX, AutoCAD) for factory layout design and tooling development.
  4. In-depth knowledge of metallic manufacturing processes, including machining, sheet metal fabrication, welding, mechanical assembly, and finishing techniques.
  5. Strong understanding of coating applications, methodologies for additive support removal, and general assembly processes.
  6. Experience with process qualification methodologies, including DOE, statistical analysis, and validation protocols.
  7. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proven history of leading continuous improvement initiatives to boost manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
  8. Familiarity with automotive/aerospace design concepts and tooling design best practices.
  9. A natural mentor, providing both technical and strategic support to colleagues.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Master's degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Comprehensive knowledge of advanced manufacturing technologies such as 3D printing, robotics, and automation.
  3. Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
  4. Experience in the aerospace, automotive, or defense sectors is advantageous.
  5. Strong communication and leadership skills, with the capability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
