About the Role

Arcfield is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team in support of space vehicle Integrated Command and Control (IC2) and space network management systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing acquisition, technical, engineering, and programmatic support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Requirements Development: Develop system requirements, perform requirements management, and perform requirements verification to ensure compliance with major design reviews.
  • Model-Based Systems Engineering: Utilize technical planning, system integration, verification, and validation to identify program requirements, track performance metrics, and manage the systems engineering process.
  • Agile Product Development: Support the development, maintenance, and understanding of Agile products, governance, strategies, implementation guides, development plans, and Statement of Objectives (SOO).
  • Training and Guidance: Provide guidance and training to customers on Agile principles and processes, Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes, multi-cloud distributed architectures, space network management, and machine learning.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (12-15 years), Master's degree (10-13 years), or Ph.D. (10+ years)
  • Clearance: Must possess and be able to maintain a Top Secret/Secret Clearance with polygraph
  • Technical Skills: Proficient with Cameo and SysML software tools, in-depth knowledge of customer agency's Enterprise Systems Engineering processes and Digital Engineering ecosystem
  • Experience: Significant experience in requirements development and management for large space and ground system acquisitions, experience in design and development of space network architectures
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, strong analytical skills, and attention to detail
