Position Overview:

We are seeking committed individuals to become part of our team as Facilities Improvement Technicians on a temporary basis. As a member of the Student Centers Facilities Improvement team, you will have the chance to engage in various retail and hospitality environments, offering competitive compensation, adaptable schedules, and opportunities for advancement and personal development. Our professional staff will provide the necessary training and support to ensure your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct basic cleaning operations utilizing standard housekeeping tools
  • Identify and report any irregularities observed within the premises
  • Complete designated projects and manage inventory levels
  • Assist with the relocation of furniture and routine upkeep of equipment
  • Be prepared for emergency situations and adverse weather conditions
  • Perform additional tasks as required to fulfill business needs

Work Schedule:

40 hours per week, including required weekend shifts

Essential Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Capability to perform medium to heavy physical tasks
  • Understanding of cleaning protocols and equipment usage
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in housekeeping, ideally within a university or commercial environment
