At ECS (Equus Compute Solutions), we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing environment, you will play a crucial role in supporting the production process, promoting new designs, and advancing the capabilities required to increase productivity and enable new technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manufacturing Support and Root Cause Analysis (30%): Provide technical support to manufacturing operations, resolving process-related issues, production-related issues, infrastructure support, and minimizing downtime while increasing overall throughput of the manufacturing environment.
  • Manufacturing Production and Product Improvement Activities (30%): Collaborate with System Engineering, Solution Architects, and Manufacturing to transition new products from design to full-scale production, ensure a clean hand off, training, and associated root cause analysis to improve over each product launch.
  • New Product Introduction Processes and Promotion (20%): Support the operations teams working with assemblers and troubleshooting equipment and process issues while also aiding in training and building knowledge for various operation states.
  • Advance New Capabilities and Digital Methods (15%): Manage projects focusing on new production technology, process improvements, cost reductions, and collaborate across various teams to drive Design for Manufacturability; manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixtures to meet daily production schedules while enhancing productivity and product quality.
  • Process Development, Improvements, and Documentation (5%): Develop supporting documentation, diagrams, work instructions, and implementing digital manufacturing methods.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and practical experience.
  • Minimum of five years working with computer hardware, computing solutions, and technology and components and experience with contract computer manufacturing or cellular work environments.
  • IT or Technical Computing Certification (e.g., CompTIA A+, Cloud+, Security+), Microsoft, Linux or A+ certification.
  • Strong understanding of computer components, functions, applications, and final assembly and service of computer components and assemblies, packaging, and testing, as well as a basic understanding of computing design considerations.
  • Ability to understand basic electronics, and the ability to read, interpret, and understand engineering drawings, specifications, component datasheets, and technical manuals.
  • Strong working knowledge of Windows, Linux, networking, data storage, rack components and assembly, and various software applications such as Microsoft Office Products including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in team-oriented environment.
  • Familiar with networking, automation testing software, computing manufacturing.
  • Experience implementing and enhancing engineering tooling, process improvements, and automation capabilities to reduce time-to-market and associated development costs.
  • Demonstrated experience in problem solving, analytical reasoning, interpreting customer reported problems and troubleshooting root cause.
  • Ability to lead process improvement activities and participate and support inter-department improvement activities that reduce time-to-market and associated development costs.
  • Ability to work with multiple competing priorities and meet reasonable deadlines.
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
  • Willingness to develop professionally.

Pay Range: $100k - $125k
