Proficiency in computer applications, typing, and mathematical skills is necessary, along with strong listening and problem-solving abilities. Additional qualifications may include participation in professional organizations, Notary services, and NMLS registration.

Prior management experience or equivalent retail banking exposure is essential. The candidate must exhibit initiative, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively. They should be adept at implementing and executing strategic banking objectives, conducting sales meetings, and fostering a dynamic team environment. The role requires adaptability to a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities while ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all aspects of branch operations, including:

Conduct external sales outreach to existing and potential business clientsManage branch staff effectivelyEnhance the bank's presence within the communityServe as the primary contact for building maintenance and securityDevelop and implement growth strategies for the branchManage employee scheduling and workloadCollaborate on public relations and sponsorship initiativesPerform additional duties as required

In addition to management duties, the Community Bank Manager will handle a range of account opening and customer service tasks. This includes establishing various consumer and business bank accounts, facilitating loans and deposits, and making referrals to other banking services such as mortgages and investments. The role requires the ability to cross-sell additional products and assist clients with account management, including reconciliations, online services, and transaction support.

Team Collaboration:

The Community Bank Manager is a vital member of the banking team, expected to foster collaboration among colleagues and clients. They will work closely with branch staff, headquarters personnel, and various departments to enhance service quality and maintain branch security. Coaching and mentoring of retail staff will be a key focus, alongside coordination with financial consultants and loan processing teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
