Machine Maintainer Role

We are currently seeking a skilled Machine Maintainer to join our team. As a Machine Maintainer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment, performing routine maintenance tasks, and troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues with equipment, implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve equipment-related issues
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to reduce equipment failures
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in equipment maintenance
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in a machine repair or manufacturing environment
  • Proven experience in preventative maintenance, troubleshooting skills, and equipment re-building expertise
  • High competency in the use of micrometers and calipers
  • Strong math skills and computer skills
  • Experience in using controls and settings on robotic controls
  • Knowledge and/or experience working with high-speed machinery
  • Proven ability to interact and work effectively in a team setting
Preferred Requirements
  • Working experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment
  • An Associates/technical degree or a related vocational/technical certification (journeyman license, etc.)
Physical Requirements
  • While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and may be required to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • The associate may lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus
Working Conditions
  • Generally works in a plant environment
  • While performing the duties of this job, the associate may be exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicular traffic
  • The associate may be exposed to a wide range of temperatures
  • The noise level is frequently loud
