Job Title: Power Systems Project Manager

Join Qualus, a leading pure-play power services firm, as a Power Systems Project Manager in our Digital Solutions Department. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in large-scale system integration programs, delivering EMS and ADMS system and integration implementations from our leading ADMS/OMS OT software partners, particularly AspenTech/OSI.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure on-time project delivery, requiring a clear understanding of project assignments and a mature project management skill set.
  • Work side-by-side with customers, developing core business relationships and influencing key business decisions.
  • Solve complex implementation, design, and business process challenges.
  • Travel to customer sites across the country.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field of study.
  • Demonstrable experience project managing AspenTech/OSI software implementation projects, including ADMS, SCADA, EMS, GMS, DERMS, and Open AAR applications.
  • Five or more years in utility systems software Project Management.
  • Demonstratable experience interacting with clients to understand relationships and priorities.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
  • Ability to operate as part of a team in organizing, leading, planning, and executing large-scale projects.
  • Ability to prioritize work assignments and shift work efforts based on client business goals.
  • Knowledge of project integration lifecycle and methodology.
  • Excellent problem-solving, written and oral communications, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lead and facilitate workshops covering the full breadth of the project lifecycle.
  • Ability to work with new technologies and tools as required by the needs of a project.
  • Ability to work independently and self-direct your workday.
  • Experience creating work estimates, staffing plans, and proposals for projects of various scale and complexity.
  • Willing and able to travel up to 25% to customer project sites.
  • US citizen or permanent resident.
Desired Qualifications:
  • PMP certification.
  • Ten or more years in utility systems software Project Management.
  • Demonstrable experience project managing software implementation projects that included GE, Oracle, ABB, or Siemens software technologies.
  • Experience and ability to work on related OT projects such as AMI, MWFM, etc.
  • Multiple years working as a customer-facing consultant.
