The Role

The Dimensional Quality Engineer will be the primary interface with customers to ensure dimensional product quality meets customer requirements. This role will also interface with all aspects of the plant to ensure the cost of quality is being met. The Dimensional Quality Engineer is responsible for balancing and meeting customer, people, and investor goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Main interface to the customer and internal measurement group to ensure key dimensional characteristics meet customer requirements.
  • Schedule, coordinate, and report on cross-functional meetings to address internal and external dimensional concerns.
  • Interface with CMM Team Leads/Supervisors to ensure dimensional reports address key product characteristics.
  • Responsible for leading and validating corrective actions relating to dimensional concerns through completion.
  • Perform analysis and make decisions on suspect dimensional product concerns using internal and external sources.
  • Meet customer targets, including PPM, incident rates, and RMA's.
Requirements
  • 4-year Engineering degree (Mechanical Engineering preferred).
  • Statistical Process Control Management.
  • Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) preferred.
  • 3-5 years of work-related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1-2 years of interpreting and responding to coordinate measurement reports.

Pay range: $70,000 - $80,000
