  • Staff Supervision and Training
    • Supervise and train professional staff members and student employees, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to support students.
  • Student Conduct and Conflict Resolution
    • Oversee residential student conduct procedures, ensuring fair and consistent application of college policies.
    • Provide mediation and conflict resolution services to students, promoting a positive and respectful living environment.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff, ensuring clear understanding of residential life policies and procedures.

Requirements
  • Education
    • Master's degree in student personnel services, higher education administration, or a closely related field.
  • Experience
    • Three years of full-time professional experience in a college environment, preferably in residence life and housing.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
    • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations of students.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent interactions with students, faculty, and staff. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to student success and the mission of Columbia College.
